Back Porch Vet offers comprehensive support for your pet’s well-being, focusing on natural remedies. We provide resources through our website and membership program, where you can interact with Dr. Mui via the SPACES app.
Back Porch Vet was created because many veterinary clinics are overwhelmed and in many cases are not able to provide prompt care to pets. The delay in care oftentimes leads to worsening pet condition. Dr. Jonathan Mui believes that pet care should start at home, and thus Back Porch Vet was created to provide pet owners with tools to tackle common issues at home.
Back Porch Vet staff is available via email (backporchvet@hivedvm.com) Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm* MST.
Telehealth visits are available Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm* MST.

Currently, we do not provide any in-person visits. *These times are subject to change due to holidays, emergencies, scheduling, or the end of times. Please consult the website for updates on availability. In the event you are seeking emergency care for your pet, please visit your local urgent care or hospital emergency room.
We are not a 24 hour telehealth service. If your pet needs medical attention outside of regular business hours, then it's probably an emergency situation and we suggest you seek immediate care at an Urgent Care or Emergency Room facility.
Absolutely! As part of our Membership Program, we provide multiple ways of contacting us. If your pet is unwell, please feel free to contact us, and we will guide you on the appropriate steps to address your pet’s health. As part of the membership program, you can reach out to us through messaging OR if you require a more involved consultation, you can schedule a telehealth appointment. Currently, we primarily care for cats and dogs. If you have other animals on a homestead or small farm, email us at backporchvet@hivedvm.com. We're planning to expand our services soon, so stay tuned!
